Collin Reid is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-2 178 lb. frame from Mapleton, UT who attends Maple Mountain. Large frame with lean, highly athletic present build and excellent projection remaining throughout body. Ran very well, posting a 6.73 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits with good balance, starting with stance and continuing throughout swing. Generates good bat speed, shows ability to control the barrel well and spray line drive contact to all fields with whole field approach. Will drive the ball deeper with more consistency as he continues to add strength to body. Worked out defensively in the outfield. Moves to ball well with smooth athleticism, shows quick actions through fielding into quick release. Near side arm release when throwing back to infield, OF velocity topped at 81 MPH. Very good student.
