Matthew Ianniello is a 2022 2B/RHP, 3B, SS, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Recorded a 6.92 second sixty-yard dash. Primary second baseman works the ball low to the ground with a clean glove action out front and uses a full arm action to accurately throw the ball across the diamond at 77 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher moves with a full wind up and a pausing belt high leg lift as he falls to the plate with a good line and extension out of a three-quarter arm slot. Ianniello’s fastball has late sinking action as he keeps the ball down in the zone and also mixes in a breaking ball with good depth out of the same arm slot alongside a slider with sweeping action. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a balanced, even stance, high hands, and a high back elbow with a toe tap trigger while wrapping the bat as he works the ball middle of the field approach. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
