Brandon Rutledge is a 2018 OF/LHP with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from McAlester, OK who attends Mcalester HS. Rutledge has a lean athletic build, hits from a square stance. Loose hands with a line drive swing plane. Aggressive approach with opposite field contact. Makes consistent contact. Good idea of strike zone. Power will develop with added strength. Defensively, good actions to ball, comes through well, arm works with accurate throws. Good upside defensively. Also pitched, 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. Shows good arm speed. Fastball has good cut and works around zone well. Curveball has 1/7 shape. Good Student.
