Alex Getz is a 2021 C/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Merritt Island, FL who attends Merritt Island. Large frame with athletic, strong build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.73 seconds. Hits from slightly closed stance, locks hands back into load, good hip torque with twitch to lower half, swings hard with intent to do damage, good strong barrel when on time. Primary catcher, athletic in lower half, good hip flex, quick release, good downhill throws, clocked up to 73 mph on throws. Also took infield reps, moves and controls body well, quick first step with smooth hands, clocked up to 79 mph on throws across the diamond. Good student.
