Aries Samek is a 2021 SS/3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Teaneck, NJ who attends Teaneck. Well proportioned athletic build with good present strength, has really filled out nicely over the last year. Did not run the sixty, 6.51 at the Junior National in 2019. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a barrel tilt load, deep hands, has present bat speed, middle of the field line drive approach with some lift out front, does a nice job adjusting his swing for pitches on the inside and outside halves of the plate, excellent game at-bats. Showed lots of arm raw arm strength and carry, gets on top of his throws, clean hands at the ball, athletic enough to play all over the infield. Good student, verbal commitment to Clemson.
