Julian Tristan is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Northwood HS. Long and lean athletic build, broad shoulders, lots of physical projection. Late hand separation in delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, some drop and drive to his mechanics, repeats mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, mostly straight. Threw curveball with good feel and command and shows depth. 7.09 runner, has good bat speed at the plate from the right side, hits the ball out front with quick hands and consistent line drive mid field contact. Showed his arm strength from the outfield with young footwork and fundamentals. Good student.
