Colin Truitt is a 2018 C/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Collierville, TN who attends St. George's. Medium, athletic frame with slender, highly projectable present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.62 seconds. Sets up to hit from narrow-based stance with high back elbow and hands set. Barrel tips into load, creates quality bat speed, is able to repeat swing well with consistency and good direction. Stays committed to the middle of the field with quick hands and line drive swing plane, shows ability to work to all fields on a line with smoothness to stroke. Worked out defensively behind the plate, receives well and gains ground forward, shows smooth footwork throughout mechanics, showed good accuracy down to 2nd base, popped as low as 2.14 seconds and threw 72 MPH. Very good student.
