Jared Szabo is a 2019 RHP with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Evans, GA who attends Augusta Christian Schools. Nice pitcher's build with good lower 1/2 strength, plenty of physical projection remaining. Multi-part delivery with a pause with arm at full deep extension, will have challenges timing his arm with the rest of his body, lots of effort at release, mid 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight. Best breaking balls were at lower velocities with some feel, flashes good spin but delivery creates inconsistencies with his off-speed release. Will keep improving as he can make adjustments to his mechanics. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia Southern.
