Je'Von Carrier-Ward is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Polytechnic HS. Tall and slender athletic build, very projectable and might still be growing taller. Left handed hitter, upright stance with a high leg lift trigger, has quick hands and very good bat speed, hands generated swing with lots of leverage out front, has barrel skills and has always been able to square up the ball, gets surprising lift and carry to the opposite fields and projects big power in the future as he gets stronger. 6.99 runner, has sound actions in the outfield and makes accurate throws with good footwork, probable left fielder in the future. The left handed bat is very interesting, has hitters instincts and lots of hitting tools and projection. Good student, verbal commitment to Southern California.
