Evan Hopkins is a 2015 LHP with a 6-1 230 lb. frame from Lebanon, CT who attends Lyman Memorial. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength with a mature build. Primary left-handed pitcher, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with a short and easy arm action coming through the back side. Stays tall on back side with a slight hip turn at top of delivery and remains balanced throughout. Steady tempo delivery, front side opens early at times. Showed a feel for both of his pitched, topping at 82 mph with his fastball and projects for more and shows a 12-6 curveball at 70 mph with nice depth in the zone with a feel to throw it at any time during an at bat.
