Edward Meizels is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Greenwich, CT who attends King & Low-Heywood Thomas School. Large, athletic build with broad shoulder s and a lean, projectable build. Ran a 7.02 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows athletic actions to the ball with short, quick steps to the ball. Shows a quick arm and release from a full arm action, stays tall at release, uses a crow hop to gain momentum and shows accuracy on throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and a low hand set. Swing has some length but shows an aggressive barrel and gets it to the ball well. Uses a leg kick trigger, does a nice job of covering the whole plate and creates line drive contact to the middle and pull parts of the field, showing some pop to the opposite field. Good student.
