Carson Reeder is a 2018 RHP/ with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Gulf Breeze, FL who attends Gulf Breeze. Medium frame with an athletic build. Primary right handed pitcher with a full over dead to high leg lift delivery. Clean take away at separation and released from an over top arm slot and generating solid on line momentum to the plate with lower half. Fastball jumped out of hand well producing good downward tilt through the zone in the low to mid 80's, topped at 85 miles per hour. Curveball showed 12/6 shape with tight spin and sharp depth. Showed the feel for breaking ball to consistently located to the bottom quadrants of the strike zone. Continuously stayed ahead of hitters in the count by working fastball toe each edge of the plate before finished with breaking ball. Effectively kept hitters off balance while inducing weak contact throughout each inning of work. Outstanding student. Named to the 2017 Southeast Uncommitted Showcase, Top Prospect List.
