Tanner Wofford is a 2017 RHP/3B with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Spartanburg, SC who attends Chesnee HS. Has a long, lean build, long arms, projectable build with plenty of room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.89 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, has a steady pace to delivery, short stride, stays balanced, and good extension out front. Throws from a low 3/4 to side-arm slot with long arm action and developing arm speed. Fastball showed both running and cutting action, good movement. Also showed a slider with slurvy shape, very good sharpness and depth, works well with his arm slot. Is able to pound the strike zone, adds and subtracts with his fastball. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with an open, upright stance. Has an opposite field approach on a line drive swing plane. Very loose and repeatable swing, showed good barrel control that produced several line drives. Excellent student.
