William Simeone is a 2017 RHP with a 6-7 205 lb. frame from Milton, MA who attends IMG Academy. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulder and long limbs, high waist, and plenty of room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins with a side step moving into delivery, drop and drive towards the plate, does a nice job landing on line and working on top of the ball. Full and fluid arm action through the back, works to a three-quarters arm slot, ball comes out clean and generates short running life to fastball down in the zone, topped out at 82 mph. Shows quickness and whip to arm, occasionally late through the back, projects for more velocity with additional lower half. Has a nice feel for a changeup, maintains arm speed and slot at 73 mph. Curveball developed nicely throughout time on mound, 11-5 shape with depth at 70 mph, occasional 12-6, tight rotation and can serve as a put away pitch. Nice overall feel on the mound, projects nicely. Very good student.
