Heldon Ramos is a 2018 SS/OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Orlando, FL. Medium frame, sturdy athletic build with present strength. Solid athlete, ran a 6.97 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, high back elbow with crouched stance, slightly closed feet position. Toe-tap timing mechanism with huge gather and lean, likes to hit off of backside and dip with uphill plane. Good hip rotation, shows solid feel for the barrel in both batting practice and games, solid plate discipline. Has defensive versatility, shows aggression and good instincts in the outfield. Solid routes to the ball, good arm-action with fluidity, shows developing arm strength, accurate on throws. Could work through the ball more consistently in the infield, shows soft hands with fluid actions. Named to Showcase Top Prospect List.
