Marc Babicz is a 2020 SS/OF/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Stickney, IL who attends St. Laurence HS. Lean and wiry young build, long arms, lots of room and time to grow and get stronger. 7.42 runner, plays both infield and outfield, outfield actions more natural and athletic at present, high 3/4's to over the top arm action works best in the outfield at present as well, has plenty of young arm strength that will continue to improve. Right handed hitter, spread even stance with some crouch, loose level line drive swing, best pulling the ball, tends to reach on the outside half of the plate, beginnings of some bat speed. Also pitched, full hands over head delivery, high energy release from a slow paced start, will need to tone down effort to throw consistent strikes. Fastball topped out at 79 mph. Curveball flashed good spin and some downer depth from a high 3/4's slot. Good student.
