Isaiah Ortega-Jones is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends North Crowley High School. Medium build, with a lean, athletic frame that projects well physically. Posted an impressive 6.45 60 yard dash. Moves well on the bases and in the field. From the outfield, attacked the ball and showed good arm strength with carry on throws. At the plate, used a wide, slightly open stance with a high back elbow. Showed a loose swing with some bat speed and a line drive plane. On the mound, used a three quarter arm slot and online delivery with a mid 70's fastball and sinking changeup. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
