Ahmed Thomas is a 2015 OF/1B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Coatesville, PA. Medium, athletic frame with room to fill out with added strength. Strong runner, posted a 6.79 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, throws from an over the top arm slot with a long arm action in the back. Needs to set feet on throws. Nice carry and accuracy on throws, works through the ball, quick arm. Left-handed hitter, starts with a high hand in the box. Short path to the ball, loose wrists, upper half swing, longer swing but gets the barrel through and creates contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Keeps hands in well.
