Thomas Nicely is a 2022 C/1B, 3B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Delmont, PA who attends Franklin Regional. Strong, medium build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.23 seconds. Primary catcher that works out of a slightly open stance at the plate. Did a good job of getting his lower half into his swing to generate some power. On the defensive side of the ball he showed a very quick catch and release. His best throw was clocked at 71 MPH and his best pop time that he turned in was 2.01 seconds. Was also very effective at staying quiet in his catching stance and didn't have much unnecessary movement or noise when catching. Great student.
