Scott Crosson is a 2020 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Chesapeake, VA who attends Hickory HS. Recorded a 7.22 second 60-yard dash time. Lean and athletic frame with a lot of room to fill out and add strength. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a big rocker step into an overall deliberate delivery. Tighter three-quarter arm slot and stays tall on his backside. Crossfire element to his landing with a full hand gather over the head during the rocker. Hides the ball well with a short and online arm action. Low effort delivery and pretty repeatable overall. Good command to the arm side of the plate and mixes in a 12/6 breaking ball with occasional sweeping action. Flashed a changeup that showed similar arm speed to the fastball and running action. Secondary outfielder with shuffled footwork and throws with intent. Arm strength up to 81 mph and showed the ability to make adjustments well. Lefthanded hitter with a high hand set and high back elbow. Short swing and turns the barrel over well. Hard hit line drives to all fields with a contact oriented approach. Small leg lift trigger into the weight shift. Great student.
