Kristopher Morgenweck is a 2016 RHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Estell Manor, NJ who attends St Augustine Preparatory. Large, athletic frame with a strong build. Ran a 7.99 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from a three-quarter arm slot with an easy arm action in the back. Ball comes out of hand cleanly. Fastball worked in the 76-78 mph range and shows an understanding of how to pitch on the mound. Same arm action on 12-6 curveball as fastball, shows a nice feel for the pitch with sharp break. Changeup has fading action at 66 mph. Tracks the ball off the bat in the outfield, short arm action on throws, works through the ball well. Left-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance with an open base. Gets good extension in swing, uses strength and shows some pop to pull side gap, length to swing. Outstanding student.
