Isaac Quinones is a 2017 C/1B with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends West Broward HS. Medium, athletic frame with a compact build, strong lower half, and present strength throughout build. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, narrow stance in set up behind the plate, incorporates lower half well and gains ground with footwork, solid arm strength on throws down to second base with good carry and accuracy out of hand, 1.99 best pop time. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set in the box. Direct path to the ball with long finish through the ball, generates bat speed and has strength when squared. Will continue to develop additional strength with continued use of lower half, line drive contact with middle of field approach and rhythm to swing, best strength to pull side. Very good student.
