Kaelon Harkema is a 2019 SS with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Ballard HS. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build--good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.05 seconds. Sets up to hit from narrow-based, even stance; hands cock back into load with synchronized leg lift, creates separation. Simple mechanics for the most part, line drive swing plane, showed good middle-field approach, good contact skills overall, will drive the ball more with increased strength. Worked out in the infield; swivels hips well and shows athleticism to actions and footwork, gets around the ball nicely and shows clean hands, long overtop arm stroke, arm strength clocked up to 75 mph.
