Hendrix Thomas is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Elizabethtown, KY who attends Elizabethtown. Extra-Large frame with a lean build, showing plenty of room to fill out making him projectable. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a front step to a higher leg lift in the windup. Compact at the top and turns away a bit before driving down the hill. Athletic in the delivery as he is mechanically sound. Went right after hitters with the fastball as he was up to 84 mph. Proved he could work all four quadrants with the heater. Mixed in a hard slider in the low-70's with late vertical bite to it. Rounded off the arsenal with a fading changeup that he proved he could get swing and miss with. Pitchability showing on the mound as he carved hitters up during his outing. Plenty more left in the tank and projects on the bump going forward. Outstanding Student. Named to Southeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
