Conner MacNeil is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Haddonfield, NJ who attends Haddonfield Memorial. XL frame with excellent present physicality along with remaining projection. Ran 40 yard dash in 4.96 seconds. Took one of the loudest BP rounds of the day; smaller stride into contact out of slightly open stance with high hands and back elbow. Gets onto positive launch angle with plenty of bat speed, big time strength off the barrel, consistently squared up the ball loudly with HR juice. Several would have cleared OF wall had the event been outdoors. Swing the bat with intent and has success. Worked out in the outfield, stays balanced through footwork, extended footwork into release with running start, throws clocked up to 83 MPH. Pitched as well; high leg lift up to belt, short and compact arm stroke through the back with effort in delivery, lands on line, fastball worked 80-83 MPH with good arm side run and some plane generated. Showed curveball with 11/5 shape and quality bite. Showed ability to work to both sides of the plate effectively. Good student, named to 2017 Northeast Indoor Showcase-NJ Top Prospect List.
