Jake Connelly is a 2019 OF/RHP/IF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic HS. Long and slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a high hand load, lots of barrel waggle in his trigger, has quick hands and some developing barrel whip in his swing, hits to all fields, has the tools to continue to improve with additional strength. Has run 7.05 at a PG showcase earlier this year, comes through the ball well in the outfield with a quick release and a compact arm action, makes accurate throws. Young athlete who will continue to improve as he gets stronger.
