Asher Spivey is a 2019 C/OF with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Holy Innocents Episcopal HS. Recorded a 7.17 60-yard dash. Strong frame with present athleticism as well as strength. Primary catcher who showed off his twitch athleticism as well as quick actions. Solid arm strength and throws were accurate to the bag. Recorded a pop time of 1.97. Also worked out in the outfield where his arm strength played well. Throws were online and takes direct routes to the ball. Very quick hands with requisite wrist strength at the plate. Showed the ability to drive the ball to all fields and flashed raw power. Hands are in good launch position preceding the pitch. Named to the 2017 Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect Team. Outstanding student.
