Edison Ramos is a 2020 OF/ with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Euless, TX who attends Colleyville Heritage. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build and wiry strength. Ran a 6.99 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with clean, smooth footwork while ranging for and closing to the baseball. Works through baseball well while working through exchange and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Topped at 76 miles per hour generating accurate carry to the bag. Mature actions defensively that will continue to develop with physical maturity. Left handed hitter with a crouched, even stance. Generated slight coil with top half at load. Stays be behind contact well with rotational lower half actions. Repeats a loose, line drive plane well while utilizing a mid field approach. Flashed the ability to throw barrel with aggression and work to pull side with solid jump off the barrel. Named to the 2017 Spring Top Prospect Showcase-Top Prospect List.
