Michael Jones is a 2017 C/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Red Mountain HS. Medium, strongly built, lean frame with room to add strength. Looks the part behind the plate. Ran a 7.48 60 yard dash. Makes accurate throws and shows a short arm action from behind the plate. Gains ground and flashes solid arm strength. Has the receiving skills to play the position. Bats right-handed, works from an upright setup and flashes pull side power potential. Shows good plate coverage and ability to hit off speed pitches in game action. Stays inside the ball. Very good student.
