Hagan Banks is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Plainville, GA who attends Calhoun. Large frame with wide hips that are going to fill in and give him a plus base to throw from. Long deep arm action in back, can vary the pace and tempo of his delivery with good effect, some effort at release, relatively short stride out front but gets good extension over his front side and some angle. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, showed the ability to throw strikes with three pitches. Change up is a quality pitch he sells well and generates nice life. Lands a short slider for strikes. Three-pitch starter profile who should continue to improve with mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Verbal commitment to Alabama.
