Travis Morgan is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Petaluma, CA who attends Casa Grande. Large frame with lean, long build; very good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.44 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, compact arm stroke, throws from ear with tight release, does a good job repeating delivery for the most part, fastball worked 77-81 mph with good arm side life to the pitch. Showed a pair of breaking balls, including a curveball with solid depth and a slider with some. Good deception on off speed pitches. Hits with leg lift trigger and middle-field approach, shows strength at contact when squared up, able to work to all fields. Worked out at 1st base, anticipates hops well and shows soft hands, makes pivot play well, clocked up to 78 mph across the diamond. Good student.
