Brandon Huerta is a 2005 middle infielder from Atascadero, California, with a solid frame and compact, strong build. He is aggressive at the plate with a good base with some nice rhythm and balance to his approach. Huerta will hit to all fields, and can hit the opposite gap with some authority. He projects to be an early line up type hitter that makes solid contact, and can do the little things that an early portion of the line up hitter has to do. Huerta has good hands on defense, and agility to cover some ground. Huerta is a good looking baseball player that should be able to hit for a high average, and have a high on base percentage. Brandon is an excellent student.
