Jomar A. Lugo is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Little River, SC who attends North Myrtle Beach High. Medium frame with a lean build and room to fill. Ran a 7.33 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with athleticism and bounce to actions, works through the ball well and underneath it at receiving, carries momentum toward bag and uses a quick release with arm strength to get it across well. Righthanded hitter, sets up open in his stance, swings hard with some length to the path but good extension through contact, shows feel for the barrel and uses torque in the lower half to create some jump to the pull side off impact. Outstanding student.
