Jonah Diaz is a 2021 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends North Broward Prep. Medium and very projectable frame with a high waist and room to fill with time to do so. Ran a 7.12 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well to the baseball with good footwork to and through the ball, soft hands that play the ball cleanly, showcased good ranged to either side laterally, low release point into throws that generate average arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond. Lefthanded hitter, a bit long with hand path but it plays well for him, incorporates lower half into swing really well generating some torque to his hips, solid barrel to ball skills with lots of hard contact especially to his pull side, should only continue get better with growth and additional strength to the build. Good student.
