2016 Sunshine Southeast Showcase
Miguel Urbina is a 2016 3B/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends North Paulding High School. Medium, athletic build with a lean frame and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted an impressive time of 6.84 in the 60 yard dash. Primary third basemen, showed good hands and actions along with accuracy across the diamond with a top velocity of 82 mph. Also worked out in the outfield, was athletic to the ball and got good carry on his throws to the bag. At the plate, started open with a lower hand set. Showed some bat speed at the plate with developing barrel feel. Will find more consistency in swing with additional lower half involvement. Good student.
