Michael Puckett Jr is a 2015 RHP/3B/1B with a 6-1 208 lb. frame from Florissant, MO who attends Hazelwood West HS. Large frame, some present strength. Sound balanced delivery, stays compact, short arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, works downhill well, somewhat cross body and closed at release. Fastball topped at 78 mph, consistent cutting action, showed ability to move his fastball in and out. Nice curveball, knuckle curve grip, good hard spin and depth, has feel for locating curveball. Works quickly, mixes his pitches well and has a mature feel for pitching. Right handed hitter, rotational short swing, moves into contact, line drive swing plane, mid field contact. Excellent student.
