Ryan Mainhart is a 6'4" 165 pound 2007 right handed pitcher and first baseman from Nova High School in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He has a tall slender build with long arms and legs. Ryan uses a drop and drive delivery with a long arm action. He throws from a low 3/4 arm slot which gives him good run on his fastball at 80 mph. He also threw a change up at 70 mph and a hard biting curveball at 63 mph. Mainhart also threw well from the outfield at 81 mph during the workout. Ryan has good tools with lots of room to improve.
