Ryan Stewart is a 2016 SS/3B, OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Cypress Lake. Medium frame with solid present build throughout, body projects well to add strength moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.23 seconds. Hits from extremely wide spread stance with high back elbow, low and active hand set. Opposite-field approach to hitting with intent to spray line drives to right field and get on base. Quality approach overall, doesn't chase pitches out of the zone. Line drive swing plane, was successful in executing approach. Worked out defensively in the infield, showing quick feet and good movement to the ball. Surrounds it well with aggressiveness and fields cleanly with consistency, transfers quickly and shows quick release across. Infield arm strength clocked up to 79 MPH with good accuracy and online carry. Very good student.
