Vincent Giglia is a 2014 1B/ with a 6-5 245 lb. frame from Merrick, NY who attends Sanford H Calhoun. Extra large build, physically mature player. Arm strength is still developing at first base, but shows good footwork and quality actions with his hands around the bag. Left-handed batter, works from an upright slightly closed stance and uses a leg lift trigger. Hits to the middle of the field, but flashes pull power potential. Controlled approach. Very good student.
