2015 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Ryan Mudge is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Ankeny, IA who attends Ankeny Centennial HS. Slender young build, minimal present strength. Slow paced leg raise delivery, long extended arm action, body tends to get out in front of his arm coming through, high 3/4's arm slot, gets good downhill angle. Low 70's fastball, topped out at 74 mph, occasional cutting or running action. Curveball best pitch, improved throughout the outing as he threw it harder and had more confidence. Threw consistent strikes and made hitters swing the bat. Good student.
