Jacob Morrissey is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-0 199 lb. frame from Ankeny, IA who attends Ankeny HS. Medium broad shouldered build with good present strength. Long extended arm action with a full arm swing, high 3/4's to over the top release point, has energy at release and tends to pull his head off the plate hard. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 85 mph, mostly straight. Big sweeping curveball shows good spin and bite at times, rare change up. Lots of deception with arms and legs going in all directions but settled down and threw consistent strikes and was effective. Has the arm strength to continue to improve.
