Kaden Verdin is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 6-8 215 lb. frame from Atwater, CA who attends Buhach Colony HS. Extra, Extra large frame and build. Slow paced leg raise delivery, stays balanced and directional well, simple repeatable mechanics, compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot, gets downhill and has some deception hiding the ball. Fastball up to 83 mph early, mostly straight, pitched mostly in the upper 70's. Soft curveball thrown consistently for strikes, commanded curveball better than fastball. Has a presence on the mound due to his size. Right handed hitter, deep load and long swing, showed ability to handle the barrel and make consistent contact, pull approach. Big target at first base and showed soft hands and good defensive awareness.
