Riley O'Day is a 2016 RHP with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Coatesville, PA who attends Bishop Shananan. Large, athletic frame with a long, lean limbs and projects well with additional strength. Ran a 7.69 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot and shows an easy and repeatable delivery. Creates nice extension out front and downhill plane on fastball, finishing on line with lower half. Works down in the zone with occasional arm side run and angle on fastball that topped at 82 mph. Shows command off entire repertoire and keeps hiters off balance, location to both sides effectively. Tight, late breaking curveball with 10-4 shape showing good depth. Maintains arm speed on changeup at 72 mph with late fade down in zone. Athletic actions in the infield, long arm action with strength on throws across. Right-handed hitter, shifts weight well through swing with a long and fluid bat path. Good carry coming off the barrel and shows a nice feel for it through the zone. Named to National Underclass East Top Prospect List.
