Lee Reumann is a 2008 LHP/OF/1B with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Wellington FL, who attends Wellington HS. He has a slender frame with some lower body strength. Reumann lists himself as a primary pitcher but looks like a much better long-term hitting prospect based on this performance. On the mound, Reumann has a low effort, clean delivery and a high 3/4's release point. He throws his fastball 73-76 mph but is a primary curveball pitcher. His 62 mph curveball has a big, deep break and Reumann does a good job of commanding both pitches, which enables him to pitch backwards at this level. At the plate, Reumann has an easy, line drive swing. He shows the same sort of athletic balance and control of the bat head as he does throwing the ball on the mound. Reumann consistently squared up on the ball hard during BP and in the games and drove some balls to the gaps. Better timing and use of his hips could unleash some more power almost immediately. Additional strength is going to help him more with the bat than it is on the mound. Keep on eye on his development. Reumann is also a good student.
