Jackson Braden is a 2017 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Adairsville, GA who attends Calhoun. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Started working from the stretch, but would mix in a side step delivery from the windup as well. Stays balanced at gather with slight coil over back leg. Utilizes lower half while working to the plate with drop and drive actions. Long arm circle back at separation and released from a loose three-quarters arm slot. Flashed solid feel for a fastball offering with the ability to consistently spot up on the outside edge of the plate, topped at 84 miles per hour. Repeated arm action and tempo well with a curveball offering that had slurvy shape in the mid 70's. Looks to work ahead of hitters early with fastball offering down in the zone inducing weak ground ball contact.
