AJ Denny is a 2017 LHP/ with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Stroudsburg, PA who attends Stroudsburg. Medium, athletic frame with solid build throughout and good projection remaining. Synchronized hands and leg lift into delivery, lands slightly closed and creates crossfire action in delivery. Throws from high three quarters arm slot, deep in back through arm circle, worked to both sides of the plate with fastball, velocity sat at 77-81 MPH. Deliberate mechanics, can have some deception at times. Showed a pair of off speed pitches. CB has solid spin with 11/5 shape; also flashed CH with big velocity separation from fastball and eye-changing looks at times. Excellent student.
