David Shepherd is a 2016 OF/RHP,/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from St. Peter's, MO who attends Fort Zumwalt South HS. Tall and lean athletic build, projects well physically. Right handed hitter, open tall stance, tends to stay open during his swing, long loose rotational swing, doesn't get much use of his lower half at present, line drive contact approach, will hit to all fields, looks like he could develop some gap power if he'd open up his swing a bit. 7.56 runner, works through the ball well in the outfield, long and loose arm action, has shown significantly better raw arm strength at previous events. Good student.
