Drew Williamson is a 2018 OF/1B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Brewton, AL who attends TR Miller HS. Strong and tall athletic build, projects physically. Did not run due to a recovering hip flexor injury, has run 6.7 at PG events in the past. Shows his athleticism well in the outfield, strong fundamentals with good directional footwork, makes accurate one hop throws with good arm strength. Also plays first base with the same athleticism. Left handed hitter, barrel wrap start, long and strong swing with a slightly uphill plane and a high finish, creates some bat speed and can impact the ball hard, may have to shorten up some at the next level. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Alabama.
