Alex Nuovo is a 2016 C/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Hillgrove. Medium, strongly built catcher. Ran a 7.87 60 yard dash. Has a quick transfer from behind the dish and throws from his ear. Throws are consistently on the bag and pops a 1.93. Also moves well at third base in game action. Bats left-handed, flashes good raw strength. Stays balanced and hits well to his pull side. Also took the mound, reaches 81 mph with his fastball from a high three-quarter arm slot. Flashes good depth on his curveball with 11-5 action. Good student.
