Jordan Ward is a 2017 RHP/1B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Duluth, GA who attends Wesleyan HS. Large athletic frame with broad shoulders, projects very well physically. Uptempo delivery with a medium length arm circle in back, hides ball well and has some deception, bit cross body on release, mostly 3/4's in his release but will drop to low 3/4's at times, arm is quick and works well out front. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, gets very good sinking life down in the zone but can also work it up the ladder effectively. Tends to slow arm on curveball, will flash some 11/5 depth but not conistent. Showed good feel for his change up with good fading action. Nice young pitching prospect who looks the part and should continue to improve. Excellent student.
